Friday & Saturday Updates

Chris Moulson scored two goals and was named the game's 2nd-Star in Friday's 5-4 loss to Surrey.

Alberni will host Trail on Sunday.

In Nanaimo, Michael Garman was chased after giving up 4 goals in just under two periods against Langley on Friday. The Clippers fell to the Chiefs, 4-3 in that match. On Saturday, Nanaimo lost in overtime, 4-3, to Surrey. Michael did not play for the Clips.

Nanaimo will be at home on Wednesday against Cowichan Valley.

In Cedar Rapids, the RoughRiders won both their games this weekend. The Riders defeated Waterloo, 5-3, and then beat Green Bay, 4-0. Vince Mihalek had an assist in Saturday's shutout of the Gamblers.

Cedar Rapids will return the trip to Green Bay on Friday.

Des Moines traveled to the Windy City for a pair of games against the Steel. Chicago won on Friday, 2-1, and then followed that up with a 3-1 win on Saturday. Locke Jillson did not play in the first game and went scoreless in the second contest.

Keir Ross scored a goal in Omaha's 4-2 loss to Sioux Falls on Saturday. Omaha also dropped their game on Friday, when they dropped a 5-2 decision to Lincoln.

Des Moines and Omaha will meet on Friday in Nebraska.

In Ontario, Stouffville beat Collingwood, 5-2. Jarred Seymour did not play for the Spirit.

Stouffville will entertain Aurora on Thursday.

Neither Erik Axell nor Nick D'Agostino picked up any points in St. Michael's 3-2 win over Vaughan.

The Buzzers visit North York on Sunday.

Binghamton opened against Bay State (EJHL) in the Eastern Showcase and lost to the Breakers, 5-1. Kevin Cole picked up an assist on the Junior Senators' only goal. In their second game against San Diego (Western States Junior A Hockey League), Kevin scored a goal and added an assist to help the Sens to a 6-1 win over the Surf.

Binghamton plays Bridgewater (EJHL) on Sunday.

Cushing doubled-up Kimball Union, 6-3, on Saturday. Sean Whitney registered an assist for the Penguins.

The Pens will face Tabor on Wednesday.
