Weekend Recap: 2006 Class

Tony Romano came down to earth this weekend. In the Bobcats' 2 games, Tony contributed 2 assists, for a quietly unpoetic weekend. Welcome back, Tony...please don't linger long among us mortals.

The weekend's highlight was clearly the match up between Nanaimo and Alberni Valley in the Island Division, well at least for Cornell fans...and Nanaimo fans...and Alberni Valley fans. The game was won by the Bulldogs 7-4, with Alberni Valley's Joe Scali winning the personal battle with future teammate, Colin Greening. Joe scored one goal and picked up 2 assists (good for the game's 2nd star), while Colin netted one of his weekend's 2 goals in the game.

Salmon Arm's Brendon Nash assisted on one goal in his only action.

Blake Gallagher began to howl a little louder for the Hounds of Notre Dame, with 2 goals and one assist in his 2 games.

The Indiana Ice continue their struggles over the weekend. Justin Milo seems to go as the Ice go. Justin was pointless for the Ice in their only game played.
