Rivals Joins The Recruiting Scene

CollegeHockey247 was recently launched as part of the Rivals network. This should greatly expand the coverage of college hockey recruiting and it's long overdue. As per Rivals' policy the site will be using a star ranking method, with 5 stars being its top mark. CH247 recently put out its list of the top 50 incoming recruits and Cornell and Yale were the only ECAC schools with recruits on the list. Two future members of the Big Red made the list, along with one future Eli.

  • 29 -- Andy Iles (one of only 3 goalies on the list and highest ranked)
  • 47 -- Kenny Agostino (expected in 2011; they must know something)
  • 48 -- Mathieu Brisson (one of 4 Omaha Lancers on the list)

Each of the above are considered 4-star recruits.
