Blades Slide Into Finals

Oakville surrendered two third period goals in a 5-4 loss on Sunday, which sent its series with Wellington to a seventh game. In game seven, the teams battled to a 0-0 tie after one. In the second period, Oakville got two goals and finally put the finishing touch on a 3-0 win with an empty netter late in the third on Tuesday. Braden Birch was scoreless in the two games.

Oakville will face Kingston in the OJHL championship.
