A New Hound

John Esposito (5' 10", 170), a 1991-born centerman with the Notre Dame Hounds (SJHL) has committed to the Big Red for 2009. John, who is from Montreal, Quebec, has scored 12 goals and added 12 assists in 27 games this year. Last year, John finished 9th in scoring in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA League with 28 goals and 32 assists in 42 games.

According to various reports, John is a speedy player with a powerful shot and soft hands. He is also considered a talented puckhandler who's tough for his size and not afraid to battle along the boards.

John is the younger brother of Angelo Esposito, a 1st-round selection of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2007.

Welcome to Cornell, John.
