Weekend Update

On Thursday, St. Michael's scored the game's final five goals to defeat Stouffville, 7-3. Nick D'Agosino picked up a helper for the Buzzers, while Erik Axell continued to be out of action. Jarred Seymour did not score for the Spirit.

On Friday, the two teams met again and St. Mike's pulled out a 5-4 win. Nick D'Agostino score the tying goal with 6 seconds remaining in the game to send it into overtime. Ater a scoreless extra period, the Buzzers won the game during the shootout phase. Jarred Seymour went scoreless for Stouffville and Erik Axell sat out for St. Michael's.

Nick picked up the game's 3rd-Star for his effort.

Stouffville will visit Hamilton on Monday; St. Mike's will travel to Markham on Friday.

Also on Friday, Oakville defeated Milton, 6-3. Braden Birch picked up two assists for the Blades, including a helper on the game-winning goal.

On Saturday, Braden Birch scored a goal to help the Blades nip Brampton, 6-5.

Oakville will host Georgetown on Friday.

In British Columbia, Alberni Valley dropped its two games this weekend. The Bulldogs fell to Langley, 4-1, on Friday, and then dropped a 5-3 decision to Victoria on Saturday. Chris Moulson picked up an assist in each game for Alberni.

The Dogs will head to Cowichan Valley on Wednesday.
