Friday Update

Keir Ross scored the game-winning goal in the 3rd-period as Omaha defeated Lincoln, 2-1. Keir was named the game's 2nd-Star for his performance.

Locke Jillson and his Buccaneer mates were shutout by Sioux Falls, 3-0.

Keir and Locke will meet up on Saturday as Des Moines visits Omaha.

Vince Mihalek did not play in Cedar Rapids' 4-3 loss to Ohio. The two teams will play again on Saturday in Columbus.

In Prep play, Cushing doubled-up Holderness, 6-3. Sean Whitney picked up an assist on Cushing's last goal.

The Pens will travel to Tabor on Wednesday.

Ontario postponed many games due to a storm, this included Oakville's and St. Mike's games.

Stouffville and Huntsville managed to get their game played. The Otters defeated the Spirit, 5-2. Jarred Seymour went scoreless for Stouffville.

The Spirit will visit Seguin on Sunday.

In British Columbia, Chris Moulson and Alberni Valley were shutout by Cowichan Valley, 4-0.

Alberni will play Victoria on Friday.

Michael Garman had the night off as Nanaimo defeated Prince George, 4-1.

The Clippers will be on the road against Cowichan Valley on Saturday.
