Catching Up...

Here's an update on the games played during mid-week:

Stouffville played twice, losing in overtime to Newmarket, 4-3, on Tuesday, and then defeating Orangeville, 7-4, on Thursday. Jarred Seymour went scoreless in Tuesday's game and did not play on Thursday.

The Spirit is scheduled to visit Huntsville on Friday, though some games have already been postponed due to the weather.

Also on Thursday in Ontario, Oakville fell to Brampton in overtime, 3-2. Braden Birch was scoreless for the Blades.

Oakville's game against Mississauga on Friday has been postponed, again, due to the weather.

In Prep play, Cushing defeated Pomfret, 5-1, on Wednesday. Sean Whitney went scoreless for the Penguins.

Cushing is scheduled to play at Holderness on Friday.

In the BCHL, Michael Garman picked up his fourth shutout as Nanaimo blanked Victoria, 7-0, on Wednesday. Michael stopped 26 shots for his 21st win of the year.

The Clips will host Prince George on Friday.

Alberni defeated Prince George on Thursday, 4-2. Chris Moulson picked up an assist for the Bulldogs.

The Dogs will host Cowichan Valley on Friday.
