Saturday Action

Oakville defeated Hamilton, 4-2, for their 19th straight victory in OPJHL play. Braden Birch went scoreless for the Blades.

Oakville will host Georgetown on Friday.

Stouffville worked on their own winning streak with a 4-1 win over Villanova. The Spirit won for the 6th time in a row and will try for number 7 on Thursday against Huntsville. Jarred Seymour did not play for Stouffville.

In Prep play, Cushing exploded for seven goals for the second night in a row, as the Pens cruised past Tilton, 7-3. Sean Whitney picked up two assists for Cushing.

Cushing will be at home on Wednesday against Thayer.

Omaha defeated Des Moines for the second straight night, 4-3. Neither Keir Ross nor Locke Jillson played in the game.

Omaha will entertain Tri-City on Sunday, while Des Moines travels to Lincoln on Tuesday.

In British Columbia, Alberni Valley continued to show signs of increased vigor with a 4-4 tie against Victoria. Chris Moulson went scoreless for the Bulldogs, who host Nanaimo on Sunday.
