Saturday Recap

Starting on the left coast, Nanaimo defeated Alberni Valley, 7-1, for the second straight night. Chris Moulson was held scoreless for Alberni Valley. Michael Garman did not play for the Clippers.

Nanaimo will visit Westside on Tuesday. Alberni is off until Saturday, when they host Langley.

In the USHL, Des Moines pulled out a 4-3 win over Ohio in overtime. Locke Jillson went scoreless for the Bucs. Omaha dropped a 3-2 decision to Lincoln. Keir Ross was held scoreless for Omaha. The game between Cedar Rapids and Green Bay was postponed due to the weather.

Des Moines will visit Omaha on Tuesday. Cedar Rapids will host Sioux Falls on Friday.

In Ontario, Jarred Seymour went scoreless for Stouffville, as the Spirit was shutout by Newmarket, 3-0.

Stouffville will visit Aurora on Sunday.

Kevin Cole and his mates were also shutout in their game against New York. The Bobcats won 1-0 in Atlantic JHL action.

The two teams play again on Sunday.

Cushing defeated Tilton, 3-0, in NE Prep play. Sean Whitney went scoreless for Cushing.

The Penguins will play Williston-Northampton on Wednesday.
