Friday Night Hockey

Nick D'Agostino picked up three assists for the second game in a row, including one on the game-winning goal by Brian Potacco (Bowling Green), as St. Michael's defeated Dixie, 7-4. Erik Axell was held scoreless in the game.

The Buzzers will visit Ajax on Sunday.

In the USHL, Omaha visited Des Moines and came away with a 2-1 win. Keir Ross and Locke Jillson each went scoreless on the evening. Cedar Rapids also went down, falling to Sioux City, 4-1. Vince Mihalek was held without a point for the RoughRiders.

On Saturday, Green Bay will travel to Cedar Rapids; Des Moines will host Ohio; and Omaha faces Lincoln back in Nebraska.

Michael Garman picked up his 13th win of the season as he helped Nanaimo breeze past Alberni Valley, 7-1. Michael stopped 20 shots for the Clippers. Chris Moulson went scoreless for the Bulldogs. Braden Birch did not play for the Clips.

The two teams meet again on Saturday in Port Alberni.

Cushing and Winchendon skated to a 2-2 tie. Final statistics from the game are unknown. Cushing plays on Saturday against Tilton.
