Some Recent Action

Michael Garman stopped 20 shots to help Nanaimo defeat Powell River, 4-1, on Tuesday. Michael picked up his 12th win of the season and was named the game's 1st-Star. Braden Birch did not play for the Clippers.

Nanaimo will host Alberni on Friday.

Here's a recap of action from Saturday and Sunday:

Nick D'Agostino picked up three assists in St. Michael's, 7-2, win over Dixie on Saturday. Erik Axell did not score in the game.

St. Mike's will be at home on Friday against Dixie.

Kevin Cole scored two goals in Binghamton's, 4-2, victory over Hartford on Saturday. Kevin then followed up that performance with a goal in Sunday's, 4-2 loss to Philadelphia.

The Junior Senators will visit the New York Bobcats on Saturday.

Keir Ross added two assists to help Omaha to a 5-4 win over Tri-City on Saturday. Also on Saturday, Cedar Rapids fell to Indiana, 3-2, and Des Moines dropped a 4-2 decision to Sioux Falls. Vince Mihalek and Locke Jillson were each held scoreless in their games.

On Friday, Cedar Rapids will visit Sioux City, while Omaha and Des Moines meet in Iowa.

In British Columbia on Saturday, Alberni Valley was blanked by Cowichan Valley, 5-0. Nanaimo also went down in defeat, losing to Surrey, 6-2. Neither Braden Birch nor Michael Garman played for Nanaimo.

Down the coast in California, Cushing Academy fell to the L.A. Selects, 3-1, in the championship of the Turkey Shoot tournament. Sean Whitney picked up an assist in the loss.

Cushing will visit Winchendon on Friday.
