Saturday Recap

The Binghamton Junior Senators lost their third straight as they fell to Washington, 5-1, on Saturday. Kevin Cole was held scoreless for the Sens.

The two teams will meet again on Sunday afternoon.

In Ontario, St. Michael's defeated Dixie, 6-4. Nick D'Agostino picked up an assist in the victory, while Erik Axell went scoreless.

The Buzzers are off until Thursday when they visit Markham.

In the USHL, Vince Mihalek scored a goal and added an assist as Cedar Rapids had their way with Des Moines, 7-1. The Buccaneers' Locke Jillson was held scoreless in the game. Keir Ross also scored a goal in Omaha's 3-2 win over Ohio.

On Friday, each team takes to the road with Cedar Rapids traveling to Lincoln, Des Moines heading to Sioux City, and Omaha visiting Tri-City.

Alberni Valley won their second straight game as they beat Salmon Arm, 5-3, in BCHL play. Chris Moulson was kept off the scoresheet for the Bulldogs.

Alberni will visit Surrey on Friday.
