Friday Recap

In Ontario, St. Michael's breezed to a 6-2 win over Ajax. Newly committed Big Red Buzzers, Erik Axell and Nick D'Agostino were held scoreless.

St. Mike's is in action on Saturday when they visit Dixie.

In the USHL, Omaha stands as the lone undefeated team after defeating Ohio, 6-2. Keir Ross picked up an assist for the Lancers.

Des Moines beat Sioux City, 2-1, and Cedar Rapids lost for the first time this season, falling, 7-5, to Indiana. Locke Jillson and Vince Mihalek had the night off respectively.

Des Moines and Cedar Rapids meet on Saturday, while Omaha has a rematch against Ohio.

In British Columbia, Nanaimo played their second straight overtime game, defeating visiting Victoria, 3-2. Braden Birch went scoreless for the Clippers, and Michael Garman did not play.

Nanaimo will host Salmon Arm on Sunday.
