Friday Recap: USHL

Keir Ross scored the first goal of the season for Omaha, which kick-started the Lancers to a 4-2 win over Tri-City. Keir was awarded the game's 2nd-Star for his performance.

Vince Mihalek chipped in an assist on Cedar Rapids' opening goal and helped the RoughRiders to a 7-2 victory over Chicago.

Locke Jillson did not play in Des Moines opening game, a 3-2 loss to Lincoln.

All three teams are in action again on Saturday. Cedar Rapids hosts Indiana; Des Moines is at home against Tri-City; and Omaha travels to take on Sioux Falls.
