Clippers Dispatch Eagles

Nanaimo won their opening series against Surrey in five games. After winning the first two games in Surrey by a combined score of 15-3, the Clippers dropped game three at home by a score of 5-3. Game four saw the return of 2008-recruit Michael Garman, who stopped 16 shots to help the Clippers to a 5-2 win. Nanaimo wrapped up the series with a 6-0 win on Sunday. Michael got the start and stopped all 15 shots he faced before being pulled with 12:23 remaining in the game. Michael was awarded the game's 3rd-Star for his game five effort. For the series, Joe Devin played four games and picked up one assist. Mike Devin played in all five games and scored one goal and picked up an assist. Mike was also named the 2nd-Star in game four.

The Clippers will begin round two on Friday against the lowest remaining seed.
