Chase Polacek Update

USHR & Chris Heisenberg have reported that Chase Polacek (5' 8", 170), a 1989-born forward at Holy Angels Academy has committed to RPI. Polacek is a quick player with a wicked shot and is a nice addition to Seth Appert's next class, which is really his first class. Polacek finished in the top-10 in scoring in Minnesota this year with 26 goals and 38 assists in 28 games.

RPI, Dartmouth, and Princeton have done an outstanding job recruiting Minnesota prep players this year. With the addition of Polacek, those schools have now picked up commitments from Adam Estoclet (Benilde St. Margaret/Dartmouth), Bryan Brutlag (Holy Angels/RPI), Josh Levine (Bloomington Jefferson/Princeton), Matt Reber (Edina/Dartmouth), and Joe Stejskal (Grand Rapids/Dartmouth). Each of these players is ranked in the top-30 in the Minnesota/Midwest region according to Heisenberg.
