BCHL Season Begins

The Junior season got underway this weekend with action across Canada. In British Columbia, the Nanaimo Clippers played a home-and-home set with the Langley Chiefs, sweeping both games by the identical score of 6-4. Mike Devin got his season off to a strong start picking up 2 assists in each of the games this weekend. Twin brother, Joe, had a bit of rough start to his season going scoreless in Saturday's game, after not playing on Friday night. Joe, additionally, picked up 16 penalty minutes on Saturday, including a 5-minute penalty for fighting in the 1st and 3rd periods, as well as a game misconduct in the 3rd period.

Nanaimo is back in action this coming weekend with a home-and-home series with Powell River.
