Saturday saw Spruce Grove shut down the high-octane Bonnyville Pontiacs, 2-1, in a surprisingly low-scoring game. Bonnyville came into the game with 3 of the top-4 scorers in the Alberta Junior Hockey League and ran into a Big Red-hot goalie, Ben Scrivens. Ben was named the game's 1st-Star as he turned away 32 of the 33 shots he faced in the overtime win. On Sunday, however, it was Ben's turn to cool down, as he left the game early in the third period after giving up 4 goals on 29 shots. The Saints managed to hold on for a 5-4 win against the Olds Grizzlys.
