The Merritt Herald confirmed that Brad Thiessen did visit Cornell on Friday, taking in the Brown game. It may be that Brad really enjoyed his visit because after flying back to British Columbia on Saturday he was in goal against Alberni Valley, helping the Centennials to a 2-1 victory over the BCHL leading Bulldogs. As previously reported, Brad was awarded the game's 2nd-Star, stopping 24 of the 25 shots he faced. As jazzed as Brad may have been on Saturday he seemingly came back to earth missing a few beats on Sunday, giving up 6 goals in an overtime loss to Cowichan Valley. Of course, as anyone who's flown in and out of Ithaca on a cross-country fly-around can attest to, it can be [insert favorite venting word] exhausting...well worth it, but exhausting.
Currently, Brad leads BCHL goalies in shutouts, and is in the top-5 in minutes played, shots faced, saves, and save percentage.
