Starting in the Near East (relatively speaking), the 6th-place Hartford Jr. Wolfpack took down the Atlantic JHL's 1st-place Bobcats, 3-2, in one of 2 overtime games involving future members of the Big Red. Tony Romano picked up an assist on New York's opening goal, in what would turn out to be an otherwise quiet evening. In the Middle East (again, keeping it relative), the night's other overtime game saw Lincoln lose to Omaha by the same 3-2 score. Justin Milo (it appears Lincoln is refusing to put up Justin's profile page until he picks up a hat trick) continued the subdued theme of the evening going scoreless, as the Stars fell before a crowd of nearly 4,800.
Out in the Far East (remember, it's all...), Brendon Nash stayed on the quiet side of the scoreboard, though his Salmon Arm mates had little trouble with Williams Lake in their 5-2 win. Also in British Columbia, Colin Greening was the star of the night with 2 goals in Nanaimo's 9-2 win over Powell River. For his effort, Colin picked up a 2nd-Star in the game.
Joe Scali did not play in Alberni Valley's win over the Vernon Vipers.
